Casa La Torre
Immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the peace that comes from staying in a house on a pristine hillside with sweeping views of the sea. The architect-designed house combines two lovingly-restored stone buildings with an uncompromisingly modern extension featuring a cantilevered terrace – the perfect place to watch the sunset. Passing sperm whales have been spotted from here. Standing at around 250m above sea level, La Torre is surrounded by tropical and temperate fruit trees. The altitude makes it a bit more comfortable during the summer months. Despite being in the north of the island, it enjoys a sunny climate all year round.
The house has three bedrooms with two double beds and two single beds. There is also a sofa bed, giving a maximum capacity of eight people.
Casa La Torre provides a retreat from the modern world. It is a place which encourages you to adapt yourself to the rhythms of nature. All the electrical devices run off solar power and even the water is warmed by the sun (with a back-up gas boiler for cloudy days).
The house is connected to the road by a 200-metre part-cemented road.
